On the evening of Thursday the 23rd of March 2017, I together with 20 guests attended the Arundel Restaurant, at Northbrook College for a Charity Fund Raising Evening on behalf of St Barnabas Hospice, Worthing.

The event was a fine dining evening, between us we tried all of the dishes that Chef Geoff Welch and his Brigade of student Chefs prepared and every single one of the dishes was met with enthusiasm and devoured with delight. The food was fantastic and Chef Welch once again did the college proud, I can safely say that you have once again won over a lot of new customers who are only too keen to return to the Arundel Room and try some other gastronomic delight!

The waiting staff let by Barbara Stuart and her colleague made sure that we had a warm welcome and were well looked after throughout. The students were an asset to the team and gave a positive reflection on all members of staff. Several of my guests commented how nice it was to meet young people who were polite, well-mannered, enthusiastic and smart.

All of the staff and students were a credit to not only the Hospitality Department but to Northbrook College and I am pleased to say that my guests are once again keen to make a return visit in the near future. For your information we managed to raise £180 for St Barnabas which I think you will agree is a very generous amount and will go some way to providing much sort after equipment for the Hospice.

Will you please pass on my personal thanks to Chef Welch, Barbra and all the staff and students who gave us such a wonderful dining experience and without their help we would not have managed to have raised anywhere near as much for such a worthy cause.
