Before being offered a place on a course, applicants whose first language is not English are required to meet the individual entry requirements of their chosen course.
For Level 2 and 3 courses, applicants without the appropriate level of English language will normally be required to achieve an IELTS qualification, with a score of at least 5.5 overall and no less than 5.5 in the Reading and Writing sections.
Alternative qualifications such as ESOL Trinity qualifications or Cambridge at the appropriate level can be accepted as an alternative to IELTS.
Students from outside the EU
International students aged 18 and over may be accepted onto courses at Level 3 and above on condition they hold a Tier 4 (General) student visa and meet course entry requirements.
