Bluebell sculpture and project team Traci Moss, a former BA Fine Art student was selected to design a sculpture for a development opposite Goring by Sea train station. The art work, which was unveiled last week, is called “Bluebells” and a video of its construction can be viewed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fI_BbOqSBac&feature=youtu.be

Northbrook was initially contacted last year to ask students to get involved in the project. Four students produced ideas for the sculpture and Traci’s was selected as the winning design. A local steelworks company (Littlehampton Welding) brought the design to life by producing the sculptures.

The project was brought together and worked on by the group in the image - Left to right:  Traci Moss, Pamela Driscoll (WBC), David Watson (Lecturer Art and Design, Northbrook), Bryan Turner (Local Councillor and Northbrook Governor), Michael Donin (Mayor of Worthing), Neil Fry (Director of Littlehampton Welding), Nick Gardener ( HOD creative industries, Northbrook), Martin Norrell (The 'magic man' at Littlehampton Welding and former Northbrook student).
