The design of Northbrook’s West Durrington campus has been hailed at this year’s Worthing Distinction in Building Awards, run by Worthing and Adur District Council.

The campus, designed by ‘ECE Architecture’, was selected by a Panel of Councillors and representatives of the Worthing Society and Conservation Area Advisory Committee, following a site visit and assessment.

The Panel were particularly impressed with the ‘bold architectural form of the new building which reflects the diverse and creative nature of the College courses.’

College Principal Sue Dare collected the award at a ceremony in Worthing Town Hall on 20 th December.

The Worthing Distinction in Building Awards recognise the best new buildings in the area, with the aim of encouraging high standards of design and craftsmanship in developments in Worthing, and to give public recognition to excellence in building.
