Davide Levi Davide, a graduate of the Music Composition degree at Northbrook, is flying high in his conducting career. He has taken up a place as assistant conductor at the Royal Opera House, and is also conductor of the Janus Ensemble.


After graduating with a Distinction in Music Composition for Professional Media at Northbrook College (Brighton University), He moved back to Milan to study conducting with M° Parisi at the Conservatoire where he graduated in 2013.


After his debut conducting Mozart’s Serenata Gran Partita and Salieri’s Armonia per un tempio della notte with the ensemble Maestri & Allievi, Davide has conducted Cimarosa’s “L’Impresario in angustie” in a successful production in Milan. In July 2013, he conducted a series of concerts with I Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan. He has worked as an assistant conductor for several opera productions in Italy and has collaborated with some of the finest Italian orchestras, amongst which La Verdi, I Pomeriggi Musicali and Sconfinarte, and the Jenaer Philharmonie in Germany.


Davide currently works as an assistant conductor at the Royal Opera House and as a freelance repetiteur and coach for opera singers. He is founder and conductor of the Janus Ensemble, an orchestra of young musicians that focuses on the performance of music by young composers.
