Fashion, Media and Promotion graduate, Helena Lester-Card has been featured in a Nike ad campaign which has gone viral online.
Helena joined a blogging girl gang called Confetti Crowd at the end of last year. The group consists of five female fashion creatives, one of whom works regularly with Nike. After learning about the new blogging team, Nike’s PR department contacted the group to ask if they wanted to be the face of their new campaign to promote Nike’s ‘Look of the City' collection.
‘Look of the City’ is a footwear and t-shirt collection which has been designed and influenced by key fashion capitals; Paris, London, Shanghai, Milan, Tokyo and New York. The trainers and matching tee Helena wears in the ad represent Tokyo.
Confetti Crowd arranged their own photographer, videographer and hair stylists and shot the advert alongside Nike representatives. The creative project run by the all-girl group was shot in the Shoreditch area of London. They each had to style three different looks which they shot in groups and individually.
Confetti Crowd were asked to promote the new campaign on their popular social media channels. They continue to work with established brands for their blog and plan to dominate the world with Girl Power! Check out their blog here:
