A Northbrook College graduate has unveiled a portrait of a World War Two veteran at a Sussex war museum.
BA Textile Design Graduate, Paul Milton, presented his portrait of World War Two veteran Harry Hacker, 90, from Bomber Command, to Wings War Museum in Balcombe on Sunday 4
Paul said, “The event went really well. For me, to have my art in a museum is a significant stepping-stone. It is exciting to think that my art is on show for the public and that it will stay there for a long time – I feel I've left my mark.
Paul has dyslexia and epilepsy. He uses opportunities like these to promote the understanding of these disabilities. “There is still a stigma associated with epilepsy and dyslexia, but I feel art helps break down those barriers.”
