Northbrook’s fashion department has teamed up with fashion honcho, Religion. The collaboration will give two Northbrook students the opportunity of an internship at Religion HQ each year, along with the chance for their print designs to feature in Religion’s latest collections.
This is the second year Northbrook College have run this project with Religion after its great success last year. The winners this year are Lauren Howarth for SS15 and Tunmise Akanmu for AW14 trans. You can take a look at their featured prints and shop the look on ReligionClothing.com.
In addition to the fabulous win and opportunities available through Religion’s yearly internship, this year has also seen student work being selected and sampled for Religion’s S/S 2016 mainline collections and Bali collections for both mens and womens wear.
year fashion design student, Hannah Sovegjarto, who has recently returned from an internship in New York with Marchesa, won Religion’s competition to work in their design studios in Bali. She has been working on dresses worn by Rita Ora and gaining a vast amount of industry experience with the opportunities created by Northbrook’s enthusiastic and well-connected fashion team. Hannah will be joined in Bali by Religion’s second competition winner, Ellie Matthews. Ellie has recently completed an internship at Jenny Packham.
Congratulations to all our competition winners and a to Northbrook’s fashion department for creating such exciting opportunities for their students!
