Designs by Northbrook Fashion Design degree students are on the shop floor following an on-going industry partnership with top brand Religion.
The previous year’s Religion project has been so successful that the designs have gone into production and are on the shop floor already across Asia and Australia. Sales figures look good and there will be a slow release of student design work throughout the next six months globally, finishing with the UK summer time in June.
Fashion Design Course Leader Theresa Parker said, “Religion have put the student designer's name and Northbrook on the selvedge edge of each garment, so when you turn them inside out both student and college are credited in the garment seams.”
Jude Woodward, Teaching and Learning Development Manager for Art & Design said, “This is particularly impressive as it is normal for designers to be anonymous – a real coup for the students.”
