Student working at festival Northbrook music students were in their element assisting with stage management and production at the recent Wildlife Festival, which took place at Shoreham Airport this month.

This is the first year the event has run and featured major acts, including Disclosure, Rudimental, Wu Tang Clan and Jamie XX.

Northbrook students were responsible for DJing in the VIP area, hospitality on the main stage, sound and lighting, and general running of the festival. The organisers and artists commented on how impressed they were by the professionalism of Northbrook students.

John Giles, Music Curriculum Leader at Northbrook College, said of the collaboration “l thought it was a great success; our DJs in the VIP area had the place rocking and played for over 7 hours on Sat and Sunday, the stage assistants, runners and tech support had amazing experience and insight into the running of large stages.”
