Safeguarding and Child Protection
We at Northbrook MET believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential and to be protected from abuse, neglect, bullying, harassment and exploitation from anyone. If you have a problem there are a number of ways you can get help, through your Personal Tutor, Pastoral Learning Mentor or the Safeguarding and Child Protection Team. Similarly if you have concerns about another student you can also raise your concerns through the above.
You can contact the Child Protection and Safeguarding Team on the following numbers:

Extremist groups are actively trying to recruit young people online and in the community. They seek to exploit any vulnerability.
If a person is being groomed by extremists, they might display types of behaviour such as:
Out of character changes in dress or behaviour
Losing interest in old friends and old activities
Possessing extremist literature
Advocating racist or hate filled messages
If you are concerned talk to us.
